Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is best known for her role in movies including Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah as well as Geostorm (2017). Cornish earned her first Screen Actors Guild Award with her last film. Gilpin was the lead character on Nurse Jackie as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes, until Nurse Jackie was pulled in June. Gilpin made her debut in True Story, a mystery thriller.
