Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born 2nd April 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She played college basketball with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings as the 5th overall pick of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born the 2nd of March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. There are two brothers: Mario (26 and 26 years older) and Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). As the youngest, her parents gave her the best treatment. Gregory was an Nigerian Army officer for a length of duration. Ogunbowale has a very energetic family. In July 2014 she was chosen as a player on the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first collegiate year.
