The most famous of her roles is her role as Marina Cooper in the Guiding Light soap opera as well as Marcy on Dawson's Creek. She was in two episodes on Showtime's Weeds alongside Mary Louise Parker. The show was titled Judy Kramer, a Fox series from 2005 and Marcy Bender in Dawson's Creek. In 2003 she portrayed Marina Cooper on the Guiding Light. This role earned her an award at the Soap Opera Digest Awards in 2003 for the Best newcomer. From 2007 to 2008 Dollar starred as Cindy Thomas on the ABC show Women's Murder Club. Dollar was a guest on The 2012 NBC Happy Valley pilot which did not get picked up.
