McKayla Rose Maroney also known under the name 'MackAir Maroney" is an infamous American athlete who has won two medals during the Summer Olympic Games of 2012: a individual silver for the vault, and gold with her team. Her involvement in sports as a child which prompted McKayla to begin gymnastics. Her specialization was vaulting. Being the sole athlete who has successfully defended her gold medal from her participation in the 2011 World Championships, she also took home the title at the 2013 championships. In 2012, the Olympics brought her a silver medal in vault, and she was determined to defend her gold medal at the Rio Olympic Games 2016. Due to an injury and another issue, she was forced to announce that she would quit gymnastics prior to the Olympic Games. In addition to gymnastics, she's appeared in a few TV shows and plans to debut as a singer. McKayla is destined for an enviable future.
