Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Her style is similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. The reviewer began her journey in the latter half of 2009, and when she gained some status in the forums (under the old name Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. She remained member of the channel through January of 2015, in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on her channel. Both cover the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She's also appeared on Brad Jones' show Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing horrible children's movies as well as RiffTrax Live Shows as well occasionally adult comedy (such as Baywatch 2017). She began reviewing movies in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining recognition in channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially being a part of the reviewers of the channel's family. Her appearances have included a variety in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. She has appeared in numerous shows of Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
